Batasuna (Basque Country) welcomes IRA statement

In press conference held this evening in Donostia, Arnaldo Otegi, Batasuna national spokesperson said:

"The National Executive of Batasuna welcomes the statement made public today by the IRA. We take that decision on a very positive way. Once again, it is the decisions taken by the Irish Republicans that make the Peace Process go forward.

Batasuna reaffirms full support to the Irish Republican Movement and to its courageous and positive nation building political strategy. Batasuna wishes all the best to the Irish people and its legitimate right for national independence". ENDS
