Barry McElduff MLA West Tyrone

Barry McElduff is married to Paula and is from County Tryone. He is a graduate of Queens University in Belfast. He has a keen interest in the Irish language and culture. He is a member of Sinn Féin's Six County executive and is Chairperson of Sinn Féin in Tyrone.

He is a member of Omagh District Council, having won a by-election in 2000.

He was elected to the Assembly for West Tyrone in 1998 and was a member of several committees in the last Assembly including the Education Committee and the Culture, Arts and Leisure Committee. He was also a member of the Irish British Inter-Parliamentary group. He was re-elected to the Assembly in November 2003.

He is the party's spokesperson on all Ireland development.
